The Founding Story

The company’s story began with a young man from Hanoi named Tuan Tu, who was a passionate fan of the German football club Bayern Munich.

Whenever Bayern Munich played in a European Cup, he would wake up early in the morning to watch the live match, regardless of the time differenceHis friends would laugh and say, “You love Bayern Munich so much, why don’t you go to Germany and watch a live game?!”

This joke stuck with Tuan TuHe began saving money, working extra jobs, and even started learning German, all so he could one day witness his favorite superstars playFinally, during the 2018 Champions League season, he made his dream trip to Germany.

When he was actually standing in the stands of the Allianz Arena and watching his beloved Bayern players run on the field, Tuan Tu was so excited he couldn’t hold back his emotionsHe was immersed in the cheers of tens of thousands of Bayern fans, cheering along and chatting with other passionate supporters.

He was invited by a fan named Hans to visit his home, where he tasted authentic dark beer and roasted pork for the first time. Unconsciously, he fell in love with the dynamic, enthusiastic lifestyle and disciplined culture of the German people.

While walking on the streets of Munich, Tuan Tu saw many signs with “urgent recruitment” notices. Hans told him, “Germany is currently short of labor, especially skilled workers. Many positions have been vacant for months and no one has been hired”.

After returning to Vietnam, Tuan Tu had a bold idea while looking out the airplane window. One year later, with the help of his friend Hans, he founded BAT Germany, a company specializing in providing services to help Vietnamese people go to Germany.

Today, BAT Germany not only helps Vietnamese workers move to Europe but also acts as a bridge for vocational education in Germany for numerous young Vietnamese. Through BAT Germany, more and more young Vietnamese people—from mechanical engineers and nurses to electricians and restaurant chefs—are finding a foothold in Germany.

Whenever there’s a home game for Bayern Munich, you can often spot a special group of fans at a corner of the Allianz Arena. They wave Vietnamese flags, wear red and yellow shirts, and cheer for the club in German with a Vietnamese accent. Tuan Tu will always remember the European Cup summer that changed his destiny and how he went from a simple football fan to a bridge-builder, connecting the dreams of two nations.

The company’s slogan is “BAT Germany – Bridging the Gap – Connecting dreams and opportunities” and “Let passion become the power to change life”.
